Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervisor, Precollege Programs; Pre-advising Counselor
Kate Oganowski has worked in the Office of Multicultural Student Services in various capacities since 1999 but has been working as the Outreach Specialist and Program Manager for the Pre-college Programs since 2006. Her undergraduate degree is in Secondary Education with a multicultural emphasis. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Student Affairs Administration at UW-L.
Her interests include intercultural communication, leadership,
student empowerment, and the positive forward movement of UW-L.
Her duties in the Office of Multicultural Student Services
include coordinating and facilitating four separate Pre-college
Programs, developing tutor/mentor training, grant writing, and
student advising, just to name a few.
