Global Warming -- Critical Questions

What do you think?

  1. Do you feel you are a contributor to global warming just by participating in daily activities? Or should a reduction in global warming be focused on the “big contributors”, such as industry etc? Explain your perspective.

  2. With Global Warming posing such a serious threat to the polar ice caps, should we prepare for displaced populations that would come as a result? If so, how can we prepare for this event? Or better yet, how could we educate and get through to people the severity of this issue?

  3. Would it be more beneficial to put extra effort into targeting older populations in the hopes they will be able to change a lifetime of learning or should we concede defeat with those population segments and only focus on the younger groups, all while global warming is increasing? Explain your thoughts on this issue.

  4. In your lifetime, do you think you will see effects of global warming? Also, will you see the effects of efforts made to hinder global warming? Offer some specific examples for both answers.

  5. Is global warming really a problem or is it just a natural change in the earth’s climate? Why do you think the way you do?
