Master's of Education for Professional Development Program
The Master's of Education for Professional Development (ME-PD) Program offers a Master's degree for people who seek to improve their professional knowledge and skills. Because of the flexibility of this program, students can zero in on specific education and training areas to hone their skills and enhance their employability in a variety of fields. Students can satisfy degree requirements by completing a seminar paper, a master's thesis or research project, or by taking six additional credits and a comprehensive examination.
ME-PD Learning Community
Participants in the ME-PD Learning Community come together as a
community of learners - a group of dedicated practitioners who,
as adult learners, take part in learning by doing and supporting
one another while sharing similar learning experiences. The
learning experience is relevant to the classroom, work setting,
and real life, and community members have a voice in the program
and its modifications. Members of the Learning Community are
teachers, counselors, social workers, librarians, and other
school practitioners.
