The UW-La Crosse Celebration of Campus Authors is an opportunity for the campus community to explore and enjoy books published by campus authors from all disciplines.

Program Overview

The 2010 program highlights books published by established UW-L authors, defined as people who have written two or more books. These include monographic works in which a UW-L faculty or staff was the author, co-author, compiler, editor/co-editor, translator, or illustrator.

The program consists of the following elements:

  • Reception: A reception was held January 20, 2009 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in Murphy Library Special Collections. Includes music, refreshments, a cash bar, and a short program.


  • Archival Website: Each book has a web page that provides bibliographic information, book cover image, and author descriptions. Click the authors' names to the right to view these websites.


  • Library Display: After the reception, the books are on display for a few weeks in a prominent area within the library.
