Five Years of Books

The UW-La Crosse Celebration of Campus Authors is an opportunity for the campus community to explore and enjoy books published by campus authors from all disciplines.

Program Overview

The 2013 program focused on books published during the years of 2009 - 2013 by UW-L authors. These include monographic works in which a UW-L faculty or staff was the author, co-author, compiler, editor/co-editor, translator, or illustrator.

The program consisted of the following elements:

  • Reception: A reception was held January 23, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in Murphy Library Special Collections. The reception included music, refreshments, a cash bar, and a short program.


  • Book Web pages: Each book has a web page that provides bibliographic information, book cover image, and author descriptions. Click the authors' names to the right to view these websites.


  • Library Display: After the reception, the books were on display for several weeks in the large library display cases near the elevators on the first floor.
