Cancellations for FY07
Criteria for Cancellations
Current subscriptions are reviewed periodically to assess their use and
support of the current curriculum.
Subscriptions will be cancelled after careful consideration of the
following criteria:
- The title has gotten little or no recorded use over
several years.
- The title is available electronically through our
subscription to Project Muse.
- The title has a current cost/use ratio greater than
$35.
- The title no longer supports the curriculum.
In order to minimize the number of cancellations for
the 2006-07 academic year, librarians have focused
attention on those titles with subscription costs
greater than $500. Those titles that showed a
cost/use ratio of greater than $100/use were then
reviewed for possible cancellation. These titles
are listed below.
