Murphy Library conducted a survey in both 2004 and 2008 to measure perceptions of library service quality and collections. Named LibQUAL+, this survey was developed and extensively tested by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL); the survey instrument has been used by hundreds of libraries since 2000.
