is a contemporary children's literature resource for educators. Segments include:
virtual author programs such as author interview and speech
transcripts or an illustrator demonstration video, activity guides
for educators, listings of awards recipients for authors and
illustrators, as well as selected Web links for educators.
Coverage: mainly contemporary authors, but a few profiles of
deceased authors (i.e. Roald Dahl). Updated: bi-weekly. Note: New users must

The Sky Astronomy:
Extensive astronomy program
that includes La Crosse Sky Astronomy, local astronomy sky charts and

Topo USA (DeLorme):
Topo USA is a two and three dimensional mapping software for the
United States that includes maps for rural/natural and urban areas.
This resource can be used to locate hiking trails, roads, water ways,
mountain rages, etc. Found on Statistics/Geography workstation in the reference
