MODULE 3: FINDING BOOKS

In Module 1, we spent a little time on books. We learned that books are kept within several separate collections in Murphy Library. For instance, Reference Books are located on the first floor in the (surprise!) Reference Collection. The 2nd Floor Stacks is an area that holds the collection of books that can be checked out.

There are also other specialized collections such as The Curriculum Center, where you'll find books for children and school teachers. Older books and historical materials can be found in the Special Collections department; and books and other materials from the world's largest publisher, the U.S. Government can be found in Government Documents in the basement.
