Cancellation Policy: Please note that Thursday, March 26, is the last day that you can cancel and receive a refund of your activities/excursions fee. After Thursday, March 26, no refunds will be issued for any circumstances. If you need to cancel your activities/excursions, please email ncur2009@uwlax.edu.

Mississippi River Cruise
Step back in time to when the most popular means of travel from town to town along the Mississippi River was by riverboat. Sit back aboard the La Crosse Queen, an authentic paddlewheel river boat, and enjoy the treasures of the Mississippi River including one of the oldest swing bridges still in operation today, the wildlife and other scenic and historic sights along the Upper Mississippi River. Choose one of these 1½- hour river cruises, which are a wonderful way to unwind after a long day. Pizza and beverages will be served for your enjoyment during the cruise.

A Night of Bowling

Bill Miller Concert
His concert will be streamed live via Ustream.
Enjoy an evening listening to the sounds of Bill Miller, a Mohican Indian from northern Wisconsin. Bill Miller is a two time Grammy award winner and also won the Native American Music Awards for Best Songwriter, Song, Folk Artist and Artist of the Year. He has shared the stage with Pearl Jam, Tori Amos, BoDeans, Richie Havens, and Arlo Guthrie. Concert held in the Recreational Eagle Center. Tickets required. If not pre-registered, there will be a limited number of tickets available at the door.

Myrick Hixon EcoPark Night Hike
Spend the evening walking the trails of the Myrick Hixon EcoPark, nestled between the banks of the beautiful Mississippi River and scenic 500 foot bluffs. These natural areas include forest, marsh, rare native prairies, bluffs, and rivers - all habitats of incredible numbers of wildlife. Your guide will take you on a wonderful adventure on the trails through this 720-acre forest preserve. Depart from Recreational Eagle Center, excursion shuttle area.

Viva La Crosse!
Food, Casino Games and Live Music!

& Convention Center, the evening starts with a taste of
Wisconsin! In true Wisconsin tradition, bratwursts and broasted

From there we bring the glitz and glitter of Las Vegas to La Crosse as Casino Night kicks into high gear. Throughout the evening you will accumulate your chips in hopes of winning prizes in the casino drawing! Top prize is a Nintendo Wii® game station!
The Shoeless Revolution band will have you dancing in the aisles as you listen to their unique style of up-tempo funk and laid back grooves. Don’t forget to stop by the Mocktail Bar and order up your favorite non-alcoholic beverage! (Cash bar, $1-2 per drink)

High Ropes Course
Using harnesses, helmets, cables, ropes and wooden beams strung 20 to 50 feet high among trees or poles, you will explore risk-taking, trust and coaching. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether you’re climbing, simply encouraging others or on belay. This outdoor course has nine high ropes and eight low elements and is located on the UW-L campus. Waiver form required. Departs from Recreational Eagle Center excursion shuttle area.
