Admission Process for the above is as follows:

An admission decision is determined after all required items arrive.  A student admitted with conditional status must become proficient in the English language before he or she may enroll in courses related to the academic degree program.  The Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant F-1 Student Status (Form I-20) provides an adequate period for the student to achieve proficiency and to obtain the degree.  However, if the student does not become proficient in the English language, he or she will not be able to enroll in the degree program.

If a student chooses not to provide the required credentials for admission into a degree program, the Form I-20 issued is for ESL only for an appropriate amount of time to become proficient in English.

Students who meet all requirements for acceptance to the university will receive a letter of acceptance, proper immigration papers, and travel information by regular mail. Admission and immigration documents will be sent by express mail service if payment of $40 USD (payable to UW-La Crosse) is submitted for this service.
