Orientation and Arrival Information

Welcome to La Crosse!

The university, campus community and Office of International Education (OIE) are excited to welcome you to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Important dates for all international students starting summer or fall semester 2008:

  Summer 2008 (June) Fall 2008
Arrival Dates June 9, 2008 August 21-23, 2008
Official Arrival Date
(date on I-20 Form)		 June 9, 2008 August 23, 2008
La Crosse Battery Exam June 11, 2008 August 25, 2008
Orientation Dates June 10-13, 2008 August 25-29, 2008

 ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY.  YOU MUST SHOW UP FOR EACH DAY.

Orientation week is mandatory.

Upon your arrival in La Crosse, you will receive a detailed orientation schedule. Please remember to contact me with your arrival information at least 5 days prior to your arrival date. If you arrive before Thursday, August 21, OIE will not be able to pick you up or provide a place to stay. You will need to provide your own transportation from the airport and stay in a hotel until the Arrival Date.
