Study Abroad
AustraLearn Internships
UW-L has joined with AustraLearn as an affiliate institution to expand our internship opportunities for students.
Students chosen to participate in this program, will be met upon arrival in Australia/New Zealand and provided with an on-site Program Introduction (orientation) by AustraLearn staff. The orientation will focus on cultural differences, workplace expectations, and intricacies of their internship assignment. In addition, internship participants will meet regularly, throughout their program, to interact and network outside the workplace. On-call support and advice is available 24 hours a day through AustraLearn Resident Directors, and the option to purchase a mobile phone will be made available to participants. On-site supervisors at the workplace as well as on-site staff of the program will evaluate each program participant.
