COMMUTE BY BIKE!  Commuting by bike not only cuts down on campus congestion and  helps preserve the environment but it also may improve your health, save you money, and save you time.  Thousands of students, staff, and faculty in the State of Wisconsin commute by bicycle.  You can also bike 'n' ride - there are bike racks on every MTU bus!

 

BUS, TRAIN, or PLANE:  There are additional ways of getting to / from the La Crosse area than the use of personal vehicles.  These additional options include riding a bus, taking the train, or maybe even an airplane. 

Bus Service is provided to La Crosse from the Madison / Milwaukee or the Minneapolis / St. Paul areas by the Jefferson Bus Lines.  Students can purchase tickets and board the bus on campus!

Amtrak provides train transportation to / from the Milwaukee and the Minneapolis / St. Paul areas.

The city of La Crosse has a municipal airport. Northwest Airlines and American Airlines are the major airlines that run service to La Crosse.
