Alternatives for Getting to Campus
BUS
Bus Service is provided to La Crosse from the Madison / Milwaukee or the Minneapolis / St. Paul areas by the Jefferson Bus Lines. Students can purchase tickets and board the bus on campus! Tickets may be purchased at the Information Desk at Cartwright Center on campus, at the Amtrak Depot at 601 S. Andrew St., by calling Jefferson Lines at 1-800-451-5333, or online at https://www.jeffersonlines.com/schedules. You may board the bus on Badger St. by Whitney Center on campus or at the Amtrak Depot. The office hours and pick-up times are listed below:

TRAIN
Amtrak provides train transportation to / from the Milwaukee and the Minneapolis / St. Paul areas and beyond. Train service runs daily between La Crosse and Milwaukee and between La Crosse and Minneapolis / St. Paul. You may purchase tickets in person at the depot, by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245), or online at http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak. The depot is located at 601 St. Andrew St., on La Crosse's North side and is open daily from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. AIRPLANE
The city of La Crosse has a municipal airport located at 2850 Airport Rd., on French Island. Northwest Airlines and American Airlines are the major airlines that run service to La Crosse. Flights run daily for both airlines. Tickets may be purchased from Northwest Airlines or American Airlines.
