Parking Fees
PARKING METERS
Meters on campus are provided for short-term parking. Payment for the use of a metered space is required even if the vehicle displays a university permit. The current charge is $.50 for 60 minutes. Enforcement hours for gray conventional university meters are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (Saturdays, Sunday, and legal holidays are exceptions, unless otherwise marked).
Express Meters (meters with yellow heads) are located at convenient locations around campus. These meters are enforced as stated on the sign on the meter post. The current fee for these meters is $.25 for 20 minutes.

PARKING FEES
In compliance with the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents Resolutions, the UW-L Parking Utility must be self-supporting. Parking fees are established at levels which provide sufficient funds for the Utility to fulfill its responsibilities without recourse to tax dollars. Funds for the development and maintenance of parking facilities and for administration and enforcement of parking regulations are raised through sales of permits and meter charges:

Permit Refund Policy
In accordance with the "Fee & Billing Policy" of the UW-L Cashier's Office, the following refund schedule will be followed, providing RETURN OF PERMIT:
