University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Planetarium Program Description "Star of Wonder" Star of Wonder speculates on what the Christmas star might have been.  Astronomical possibilities examined include:  comets, meteors, novae, and planetary conjunctions.  Historical, biblical, and astronomical records are combined to try to solve the age-old mystery of the "star."   Star of Wonder is designed for young people in 6th grade and up.
