Student Organizations
Political Science and Public Administration Association
A student led organization for political science
and public administration majors and minors. The PSA sponsors
social get-togethers and a variety of programs of interest to
those in political science/public administration, including an
annual Career Day and the annual Spring banquet. The faculty
adviser is Jo
Arney.
Pre-law Organization
Pre-Law Association is a campus organization
dedicated to the open discussion of concepts and ideas of
interest to students wishing to pursue a career in the law. The
Association strives to serve the needs of those considering law
schools and a possible law career. Of special interest are its
law school caravans (to visit law schools), practice LSATs, and
its participation in Mock Trial competitions. The faculty
adviser is Alan
Bigel.
Pi Sigma Alpha is an honorary political science fraternity that encourages intellectual effort and community service and offers a means by which political science can be publicized more adequately to the general public. Pi Sigma Alpha represents the pinnacle of achievement in the field of political science. The faculty adviser is Alan Bigel.
The UW-L College Republicans Club is a student organization dedicated to educating students, fostering Conservative principles, and further increasing student political involvement and awareness through the Republican party.
The College Democrats bring together, at frequent intervals, those who are interested in civic betterment and promoting the cause of good citizenship and the Democratic party.
