The Swinhearders: Rucht and Friuch

2 Installed Intaglio/litho prints. Each print: (24" H X 18" W). Intaglio: Drypoint, line etch, aquatint, softground, chine cole', simultaneous color, multi plate color, mono – print, selective wipe, extensive scraping and burnishing. Digital methods, Lithography. Printed on Arches Cover white. The friendship of two Irish swinehearders was destroyed by a jealous village. Rucht and Fruich took on the forms of numerous bickering animals before finally becoming the White Horned Bull and the Brown Bull of Cooley and leading two sides of Ireland to war.
