Brief biography
Interests: Avid reader - particularly of science fiction and mysteries. Huge sports fan following the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Part of La Crosse Community Theater - sometimes on stage, but more often backstage doing props.

Career
Research and publishing
Presently I am doing research into the gut microflora of aquatic slugs, characterizing bacteriocins produced by some antarctic carnobacteria and looking at the impact of lead and oil on microbial communities in the marsh.
