Significant Student Involvement: Paul was responsible for the synthesis of an 15N-labeled amino acid (Aib), which would eventually be incorporated into a larger peptide.  Paul also learned the initial steps of the analysis of 15N-1H NMR data, which would be acquired on the peptide.  Paul performed all of the synthetic steps under my direction.
