Call to Participate: A Celebration of Campus Authors–Established Book Authors
The Celebration of Campus Authors program is sponsored by Murphy Library and the Provost's Office. The celebration provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to explore and discuss books published by campus authors from all disciplines. The program includes a reception, an archival website, and a longer-term display in the library. It provides a forum in which accomplished authors can share their experiences with writing and publishing, future authors can learn more about the process, and all can benefit from the exchange of ideas.

This year’s program will focus on established authors, defined as UW-L faculty and staff who have published two or more books. If you have authored, co-authored, compiled, edited, co-edited, translated, or illustrated two or more monographs that were published by a commercial, university, small press or other publisher (not self-published) please consider participating in this celebration. Authors who participated in last year's event AND have published two or more books are welcome to participate again this year. Use the author participation form to sign up:  The reception will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Murphy Library Special Collections.
