Client Work - Volunteering/Employment/Internships

For a relatively small community, La Crosse has many opportunities for psychology students to gain relevant experience working with different client bases.  Although not all careers in psychology involve working with vulnerable populations, many students find that applied experiences inform and enrich their classroom work.  Psi Chi & Psychology Club frequently host guest speakers from psychology-related organizations to encourage this type of involvement.  There are a huge amount of organizations looking for motivated volunteers/employees/interns, and we've included a short list below that focuses on organizations that are consistently recruiting and have higher recruitment needs.  You can find more information here.
