Service Animals
|
- Some
people who are deaf, blind, or visually impaired, or who have
traumatic brain injury, seizure disorder, or a range of other
disabilities may use a service animal to assist them with daily
living.
-
While
you may inquire whether an animal is a service animal, the person
may not have information identifying it as such. This means that in
general, you will need to modify a “no animals” policy to allow the
person to enter with her service animal.
-
Service animals
are generally highly trained and well behaved. You may ask the
person to remove the animal if she does not have the animal under
her control.
