Clinical
Laboratories
The clinical courses in orthopedics (upper
extremity, lower extremity and spine) are taught in the "high" plinth
laboratories such as shown (photo on the top, right). There are also
adjustable plinths
available for student/patient interactions.
This laboratory simulates
equipment found in an outpatient physical therapy clinic.
Clinical courses in neuro rehabilitation are taught in the "low" plinth
laboratories (photo on the bottom, right). Equipment such as floor
mats, Swiss balls, bolsters and wedges allow the students to learn
how to
position pediatric and adult patients for rehabilitation.
