Historical Themes
Investigation of areas and topics of current historical interest
not covered in the regular curriculum, ranging from local and
regional to global issues. Credits generated in this course
apply as electives in the major or minor. Repeatable for credit.
HIS 700 Cr. 1-3
Historical Forum
Study of areas and topics of current interest ranging from state
and local to national and international matters. Usually
includes a cross-disciplinary approach. Repeatable for credit —
maximum 6.
HIS 796 Cr. 1-3
Independent Readings
Directed reading under the supervision of an assigned
instructor. Prerequisite: written permission of instructor.
Repeatable for credit with no more than three credit hours with
any individual instructor.
