The timetable does not list course prerequisites. Please refer to the Undergraduate Catalog for course descriptions for prerequisite information. TALON will not allow you to register in a course for which you do not meet the prerequisite.
Some classes have special course fees or require purchases. Those that require students to spend more than $20 are so noted.
SLASH COURSES
are undergraduate/graduate courses which are only open to juniors who have earned 60 credits, seniors, and graduate students. Slash course are designated in the schedule with an asterisk (*).GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES are courses that fulfill General Education requirements and are designated in the schedule with (^).
WRITING EMPHASIS COURSES are courses which contain a strong writing element. Two writing emphasis courses are required as part of General Education. These courses are designated in the schedule with (!). All sections of the same course may not be writing emphasis .
DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES are courses that either originate on our campus and include other receive sites, or originate from another campus, and UWL is a receive site. Distance education courses are designated in the schedule with (+).
