    REC
    Recreation Management Major (Science and Allied Health) 57 credits changed to Recreation Management
    Adding REC 480, 481; removing REC 380, 381 from elective.  Also changing the description to remove REC 449 and the junior level 50 hour experience requirement.
     
    REC 449  Internship/Professional Preparation, 1 cr.;
    Prefix/Dept changing from REC/RTH to REC only. And changing the prerequisite by deleting underclass pre professional requirement. 
     
    REC 300  Program Planning in Recreation, 3 cr.;
    Added prerequisite REC 150, REC 200 (or concurrent enrollment) and completion of 50 hour underclass pre professional experience.
     
    MTH
    Mathematics Major with Concentration in Actuarial Science, new concentration
    (All colleges, excluding Teacher Certification Program) – 55 credits, including MTH 207, 208, 305, 309, 310, 341, 440, 441, 442, 445, 446, ECO 110, 120, ACC 221, 222, FIN 355 and three additional credits selected from MTH 371, 407, 447, 448 and 449.  In addition, C-S 120 must be taken.
     
    Mathematics retroactive credit policy change – modify policy
    Students taking MTH 207, 208, or 309 or 310 and earning a grade of “B” or better, will be given retroactive credit for MTH 151 provided that the student’s transcript shows no record of prior or concurrent enrollment in MTH 151, 207, 208, or 309 or 310.
     
    MTH 265 Mathematical Models in Biology, 4 crs; new course
    An introduction to the use of calculus and stochastic based models to the biological sciences. Mathematical tools such as discrete and continuous differential equations, linear algebra, phase portraits, probability theory and descriptive and inferential statistics that are necessary to analyze and interpret biological models will be covered. Biological topics may include single species and interacting population dynamics, modeling infectious diseases, enzyme kinetics and quantitative genetics. Pre requisite MTH 175 or 207.

    Mathematics Minor (all colleges, excluding Middle Childhood-Early Adolescence Level Education Program) – 22 credits, change in electives MTH 207, 208, 309; 9 credits from MTH 225, 265, MTH courses numbered 310 and above. Credit for MTH 151 may be used to fulfill three of the nine additional credits. Computer Science majors may count MTH 317, 371 and C-S 453 for credit in both the computer science major and the mathematics minor. Physics majors may count MTH 461 and PHY 470 for credit in both the physics major and the mathematics minor.
     
    ESL
    ESL Institute – change in program description, change in admission/placement into program via the La Crosse Battery, change in eligibility intersession, change in prerequisites for most courses.
     
    GEO/ESC/SAH
    Geography major, change in required and elective courses.

    (All colleges, excluding Teacher Certification programs) – 52-53 42-43 credits - ESC 101; GEO 110, 201, GEO/ESC 250, 345, 385, GEO 401, GEO/ESC 445, 455, GEO 401, 485, 488; two courses one course from ESC 221, 222, GEO/ESC 323, 343, 422, 425, 426, 427, 460; one course from GEO 300, 306, 307, 309, 409; either one course from GEO/ESC 390, 440, and GEO 488, or 3 credits from of GEO/ESC 450, 490, 499 (450, 490 and 499 must be GIS related); and MTH 145.
                   
    Geography major, Environmental Science Concentration, change in elective courses.
    (All colleges, excluding Teacher Certification programs) – 53-59 credits - ESC 101, GEO 110, 201, 250, GEO/ESC 250, 385, GEO 401; four courses from ESC 211, 221, 222, GEO 200; GEO/ESC 323, 343, 422, 425, 426, 427, 460, 490; three courses from GEO/ESC 345, 390, 440, 445, 450, 485, 488; and MTH 145; and either BIO 103 or 105, 204 and 210, or CHM 103, 104, 301; three credits of GEO/ESC 450, 490 or 499 may be applied to the major.
     
    Geography minor, Information Science, change in elective courses.
    (All colleges, excluding Teacher Certification programs) - 21 credits - GEO/ESC 385, GEO 485; at least 12 credits from GEO/ESC 250, 345, 390, 440, 445,450(limit 3 credits), 455, GEO 488, 490(limit 3 credits), 499(limit 3 credits) of which up to six credits may be from GEO/ESC 450, 490 and 499 (undergraduate research and internships) 450, 490 and 499 must be GIS related); at least 3 credits one course from ESC 101, GEO 110, 200, 201, 300, 306, 307, 309. Students in this minor are required to take MTH 145. Not open to GEO/ESC majors and minors.

Geography majors who select the earth science minor must take 18 credits in the courses listed above in addition to the 36 required for the major.
