Each week, a new REC
Employee is selected as REC-ie of the Week.
Employees fill out nomination cards for
other employees they see go above and beyond
their normal duties, pick up another
employee's shift, or any other means of
positively representing the Rec Department.

shift so a fellow REC staff member
could run home to get equipment she
needed before working as an Athletic
Trainer at the UW-La Crosse football

including covering a fellow
employee's shift when he couldn't
work. |

Vanessa has done an excellent job
working at the REC including
covering part of another employees
shift so the other employee could go
to a club meeting. |

a great job working at the REC
including taking another employee's
shift and coming in on short notice
to supervise intramural volleyball
for another employee. |

Eric has done
great work with a never say "I Don't
Know" attitude towards questions.
He always makes an effort to get an
answer for anyone, no matter what
the question. |

Ashley has always
been willing to go the extra mile
and is always thinking of others.
She has also picked up many shifts
during Thanksgiving week so other
employees can go home. Way to
go Ashley, keep up the good work! |

the REC. Recently, he helped a
fellow employee tear down for
Dodgeball when he wasn't on the
clock. Way to help out

fellow employee's supervising shift
for intramural basketball so the
student could work the UW-L
wrestling meet as a field experience
related to class. |

duties. Recently, Carrie
helped with a busy period of Group X
registration while she wasn't
working. |

The first REC-ie
Trio of the Year couldn't have gone
to a better group. With quick
thinking and teamwork, Andrea,
Andrew, and Vanessa helped respond
to a cardiac emergency in one of our
group exercise classes. Their
efforts, along with many other
people, resulted in the positive
recovery of a fellow UW-La Crosse
student. Great Work! |

Sara has done an
excellent job working in the OC
(Outdoor Connections) by taking the
initiative to help where ever
needed. She takes on extra
projects to help make the program
run smoothly. |

Ben has done an outstanding job with
the spring trip for the OC. He
has helped plan the trip to Moab,
Utah. He is also always
willing to assist with the
promotions of a special event with a
great big smile on his face. |
