Employee Incentive Program
The REC SMILE Program is designed to reward REC Staff for positive behavior outside one's required duties and to recognize each hour one works as a substitute. To accomplish this the SMILE Committee will use two reward tools, a REC BUCK and a REC QUARTER.
Awarding rec bucks is as easy as 1...2..3
1. Recognize outstanding behavior
2. Complete appropriate information
3. Submit to SMILE Box in either REC or Mitchell Hall
Show me the money!
REC BUCK = Recognition for behavior above and beyond the employee's required duties
1 REC QUARTER = 1 Subbing Hour
1 REC BUCK = 4 Subbing Hours
Process
Ever two weeks, the SMILE Committee will meet to review REC BUCKS and count REC QUARTERS. REC Money will then be deposited into each employee's account.
Purchasing Merchandise
Withdrawal forms for SMILE merchandise can
also be placed in the SMILE Box. You will
receive your merchandise within a week after
the next SMILE Committee meeting.

STAR Club
Guidelines:
All REC Staff members may participate.
Every other week the SMILE Committee will randomly select two employees to be “STARS”. These two employees will be drawn through the REC money (bucks and quarters) that was turned in for those weeks. The employees will be recognized at Mitchell and the REC with a fun picture together. So start collecting and filling out those REC bucks! (Subbing hours count too!)
STAR Club will be recognized the following month with a picture posted in both buildings.
