The Learning Enrichment Coordinator (LEC) is a position found in each of UW-L's First Year Experience residence halls. It is the mission of this position to ease the transition in terms of academics to the standards of the university. The LEC utilizes a variety of strategies and resources to help students achieve academic success such as passive programs that provide recognition for academic success, coordination of study groups to promote collaboration between peers, and bringing in outside resources such as tutors or the professors themselves to further educated students.
