National Guard Liaison

            SFC Randall H. Mortimer was born in Hillsboro, Wisconsin on 18 January 1970.  He was raised in Wonewoc, WI until 1988. He graduated from Wonewoc – Center High School in 1988. He has two sisters and three brothers.

            SFC Mortimer attended college at UW River Falls where he graduated with a BS in Agriculture Business. SFC Mortimer joined the 1-128th INF Wisconsin Army National Guard New Richmond, WI during his junior year of college.  He went to Infantry Basic Training at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and through to Unit Supply Training at Ft Lee, Virginia.  He served with Co B 1-128th for six years as a Unit Supply Specialist and Unit Supply Sergeant.

            Upon completion of College in 1993 SFC Mortimer in civilian life worked as a Dairy Nutritionist for Purina Mills Inc. in Mora and Pine City Minnesota and Melrose Wisconsin over a period of six years.

            August 1998 SFC Mortimer became a full time asset of the Wisconsin Army National Guard working as a Recruiter for Co C 1-128th INF Arcadia, WI for a period of three years. During this time he achieved master recruiting status. SFC Mortimer continued on Active Duty support for Co C 1-128th INF as a Supply Sergeant.

            February 2003 SFC Mortimer became an asset of Minnesota Army National Guard Co B 2-135th INF (AA) full time unit Supply. Here he completed SLICK course. He supported three deployments over three years as the rear NCOIC. February 2005 SFC Mortimer once again recruited for Co C 2-135th INF Winona Minnesota.

                         Currently SFC Mortimer is a single parent of two boys Dade age 10 and Simeon age 7, working as a National Guard Liaison and an ROTC assistant ROO at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse ROTC.
