Clinical Internship Experience
The senior year will be spent in clinical internship at one of the following:
- St. Luke’s Medical Center - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- University of Wisconsin Hospital - Madison, Wisconsin
- University of Chicago Hospital - Chicago, Illinois
- Illinois Froedtert Hospital - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Gundersen Lutheran - La Crosse, Wisconsin
- Advocate Lutheran Hospital - Park Ridge, Illinois
The internship will start in mid-June following the junior year and will continue until mid August of the next year (approximately 14 months). CPR certification must be attained prior to or at the beginning of the internship. The following courses will be taught at the internship sites. Students must maintain a grade of "C" or better in any of the R-T courses to stay in good standing in the major. A course grade below a "C" in any of the R-T Clinical Practicum courses will place the student on probation in the major.

When students have completed the requirements for the University and the major, they are eligible to graduate. An intent to graduate form must be submitted and students who complete at the end of August may choose whether to participate in May or December ceremonies.
