  • Register now for the 2013 NASPA Annual Conference.  March 16-20th, Orlando, Florida.

  • We are now accepting applications for 2013-14.  We are looking for students who have a keen intellectual curiosity, an eagerness to learn, an ability to contribute to the SAA & UW-L community, and a passion for and commitment to a career in student affairs in higher education.   See our Admissions Info & Apply Now links for more info.

  • Consider our Partner Program -- you work at another institution and complete our degree online:  The SAA Department has relationships with several "Partner" institutions who offer an SAA student a paid internship position while they complete their SAA degree online over a period of two years. The positions will be similar to our current half-time graduate assistant positions on campus. If you would be interested in one of these positions, please contact sflack@uwlax.edu.  You need to be admitted to the SAA online program to be considered for a partner program position. 

  • SAA & Germany - an emerging global perspective of student affairs:  The Department of SAA is developing a collaborative relationship with several universities in Germany that will offer SAA students unique experiences in the years ahead.  An SAA Study Tour in 2013 and summer internship positions are currently in the works. Economically, Germany is currently one of the strongest countries in the world. In addition, the popularity of the German language world-wide has dramatically increased in recent years. If you have an interest in international opportunities as you build your professional resume, you should seriously consider joining the SAA community.  Being able to speak German would also be a real plus but is not required!  Visit our Blog.
