The two-year On-Campus curriculum is as follows (effective Fall 2007):

- Spring 1: SAA 704 Interpersonal Leadership
- SAA 708 Diversity in Higher Education
- SAA 715 Student Development Theory II
- Fall 2: SAA 710 Administration in Higher Education
- SAA 740 Organization Theory & Behavior
- SAA 781 Student Affairs Administration Internship
- Spring 2: SAA 730 Legal Issues in Student Affairs
- SAA 781 Student Affairs Administration Internship
- SAA 790 Capstone
Note: each course is worth 3 credits.
Students must choose between writing a thesis ( for 4 credits) or completing a comprehensive exam to meet graduation requirements. Students who select the comprehensive exam option must also complete two SAA 720 "Special Topics" courses for one credit each. Topics covered over a two-year period include advising, budget and finance, career development, counseling skills, historically Black colleges and universities, international issues, technology, Tribal Colleges and more. These courses are optional for students who select the thesis option. Students may elect to complete one or two optional practicums (SAA 775) for 1-2 credits for addtional practical student affairs experience. In addition, one internship may be waived if the student has completed one year of full-time student affairs-related professional work experience (post bachelor's degree).
Graduation requirements: Thesis --> 40 credits, Comprehesive Exam --> 38 credits
