Admission Requirements

Thank you for your interest in the Student Affairs Administration (SAA) Online program at UW-La Crosse. Please read all the information regarding our program and the Graduate Studies requirements before you apply. The admissions requirements are as follows:

  1. Complete the application process as indicated in the How To Apply section.
  2. Interviews may be conducted by the SAA Admissions Committee as needed.
  3. Complete the Graduate Studies electronic application. You must have a 2.85 minimum accumulative undergraduate GPA for admission to Graduate Studies at UW-La Crosse.
  4. Preference will be given to those currently working in higher education or who have comparable work experience.

Please note that the GRE is not required for admission to the program.

The SAA faculty seek students with diverse backgrounds and interests. Students admitted to the program have a variety of academic backgrounds (no particular major is required) and experiences. Multi-cultural experiences (both academic and work/personal) are valued and encouraged.
