Application Process
- Application deadlines are the first Fridays of October, February, and June (4:00 pm).
- Submit your complete application packet to Dr. Ray Martinez, Program Director, 213 Mitchell Hall—submitting items piece by piece is not acceptable.
- Candidates meeting all minimum criteria will be contacted to arrange an interview with the faculty.
- Action letters announcing admission decisions will be mailed approximately one month following the application deadline.
- The College of SAH Dean’s Office will be notified of candidates approved for admission and will formally admit students to the Teacher Education Program as ESS-Teaching majors.
- Those denied admission will be invited to discuss their questions and concerns with a member of the Admission Committee.
You need to know...
- Application deadlines are the first Fridays of October, February, and June (4:00 pm).
- A total of 60 students will be admitted each year during the fall, spring, and summer review periods.
- Only complete applications at the admission deadlines will be accepted for review.
- The application process is competitive and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
- Candidates are limited to two application attempts during their academic career at UW-La Crosse.
