PRAXIS II
Candidates are eligible to take the subject assessment after they
have been admitted to Teacher Education and official, passing scores
must be received prior to starting your student teaching placement

2. Satisfactory completion of all Health Education content courses is
recommended prior to taking the test
3.
Work through a PAXIS II Study Manual--available from most booksellers and at
Murphy Library
4.
Receive tutoring from a counselor--contact the UW-L Counseling and
Testing Center
Official Scores
Scores are only considered official if they are received in the
Teacher Certification Office, 260 Morris Hall directly from the
Educational Testing Service(ETS)
