PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
You will receive a broad, up-to-date overview of the theory and practice of Phase I (inpatient), Phase II (outpatient), Phase III (supervised), and Phase IV (maintenance) cardiac rehabilitation with emphasis on exercise physiology, pathophysiology, administrative considerations, and patient education. We will take you through the process of setting up or updating a total cardiac rehabilitation program and give you hands-on laboratory experiences with exercise leadership and exercise prescription. This workshop provides ~25 CEUs.
COURSE CONTENT
Workshop begins on Monday at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast and registration, and ends at 10:30 am on Friday.
