Who are we?

Students Advocating Potential Ability (SAPA) is a University of Wisconsin-La Crosse recognized student organization. We are a group of students, with and without disabilities, who are committed to raising awareness of disability issues. Through fun, hands-on activities, members have an opportunity to learn and to teach others. Essentially, the mission is to demonstrate the potential ability and capabilities of persons who happen to have a disability.

Who can join SAPA?

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about disability issues or who wants to help raise awareness of the rights of people with disabilities can join SAPA.

When are meetings?

Our first meeting of the Fall, 2013 semester will be on Monday, September 9th, starting at 5:00 pm in the Student Support Services (SSS) Resource room, 2140  Centennial Hall.  At that meeting we will decide to keep the meeting day and time the same or change it.  If this time and day does not work for you, please let us know.  We may decide to change the time if needed.  Everyone is welcome to join us or just come to a meeting to see what we are about.  If you can't attend meetings, we can put your name on our email list so you can keep up-to-date on our events and activities.  Hope to see you at a SAPA meeting or event.
