-Milwaukee Bucks Experience
On Saturday, February 26th, 2011, SMA attended the Milwaukee Bucks game vs. the Chicago Bulls. SMA was provided with a tour of the Bradley Center, and a presentation on marketing and ticket sales. SMA also participated in a free throw contest in which some of our members were rewarded with prizes. The Bucks might not have won the game, but it was a great experience for all who attended.
- End of the Year Cookout
To bring an end to SMA's inaugural year, the association held a cookout for all members. A bags tournament was also held.
- Minnesota Timberwolves Experience
On Saturday December 5, 2009 the Sport
Management Association took their first official trip.
We took a bus to the Minnesota Timberwolves game against
the Utah Jazz. We
stopped at the Mall of America for a couple of hours before the
game as a fun way to bond and hang out with others in the Sport
Management program.

Our second Sport Management Association
trip took place Saturday February 20, 2010.

- Green Bay Packers Tour
On April 6th, 2013 members of SMA went to Green Bay and spent a day learning about the history and tradition of Green Bay Packer football. Members were taken behind-the-scenes for a tour of the Packers facilities while getting a history lesson from their tour guide. A few of the places toured included the luxury box for team executives and celebrities, the tunnel players come out of, and as pictured the field itself. After the tour, everyone went through the Packers Hall of Fame, and had an opportunity to purchase memorabilia from the Pro Shop.
