Meeting Minutes and Schedule
Fall Schedule:
Tuesday, September 13 CC330 7:00 p.m.
This will be the first meeting of the
year. You will be able to meet the officers, learn the
constitution, and receive information on the outline for the
year.
Tuesday, September 27 CC330 7:00 p.m.
Our
guest speaker will be Erin Thacker, who is the new events
coordinator at UW-L. Officers will also answer any questions
regarding the Sports Management application.
Tuesday, October 4 Myrick Park (Near the main
shelter) 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
SMA
Cookout! Come to Myrick Park and join us eating free food,
playing beanbag toss, and getting to know other members in SMA.
Tuesday, October 18 Wimberly Hall 122 5:00 p.m.-6:30
p.m.
Our
guest speaker will be Josh Whitman, who is the Athletic Director
at UW-L. The location has changed from our original meeting room
to Wimberly Hall 122.
Tuesday, November 1 Centennial 2205 7:00 p.m.
Our guest speakers
will be professionals from Total Sports Entertainment. We will
now have all our meetings in Centennial Hall room 225 for the
rest of the semester.

p.m.
The
La Crosse Loggers Baseball team will be our guest speaker. The
Loggers are a summer collegiate baseball team that helps develop
college players to the minor league system and gives them
exposure for the MLB draft.
Tuesday, November 29 Centennial 2205 7:00
p.m.
Representatives of
the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will be our guest speakers. The
Timber Rattlers are a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee
Brewers. They will talk about the daily operations of running a
minor league baseball team along with possible
volunteer/internship opportunities next summer.
