LRSC Services

The License Renewal Support Center (LRSC) will provide services to individuals and non-public schools and agencies to meet the components of the PI 34 Teacher Education and Licensing rules.  These services may be purchased on a per event fee or through a comprehensive program package fee.

PI 34 Overview

The LRSC will provide a one-hour, interactive presentation on PI 34 and its components.
 

$50 per presentation

PDP Development

The LRSC will provide a four-hour workshop to assist individuals in completing the PDP template.  Activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Self-reflection
  • Goal writing
  • Standard identification
  • Objectives and activities
  • Data collection

Standards-based Support Seminars

LRSC will partner with CESA #4 to provide Standards-based Support Seminars for Initial Educators.  Some seminars will be offered on a regional basis via Distance Learning Networks.  Topics may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Introduction to the PDP
  • Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Planning Instructional Activities
  • Math and Reading Assessment
  • Classroom Assessment
  • Special Education

License Renewal Support

PDP Goal Approval

LRSC will identify and assist in the selection of trained reviewers to approve the goals of the initial educator.  The Center will recruit and train administrators, institute of higher education (IHE) representatives, pupil services personnel, and teachers to serve as reviewers.

$150 for the goal approval process

PDP Verification

LRSC will identify and assist in the selection of trained reviewers to verify the completion of the PDP.  The Center will recruit and train administrators, institute of higher education (IHE) representatives, pupil services personnel, and teachers to serve as reviewers.

Mentoring

Mentor Training

LRSC will provide a one-day mentor training for qualified educators.  Participants will gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities, goals and objectives, and the skills and attitudes necessary to mentor initial educators.

Mentoring

LRSC will identify and train educators to serve as mentors in non-public schools and agencies. 

$750 for the mentoring year

Critical Needs Consultation

LRSC staff will meet with individual educators to provide on-time, critical need consultation for initial educators. 

$50 per hour
