TO THE ACTIVE MEMBERS OF SIGMA TAU GAMMA, BETA KAPPA CHAPTER In an attempt to bridge the gap between active and alumni members, we have prepared biographies to allow you to gain an understanding of where we as individuals have been and where we are now. Hopefully these biographies will allow you to put names to faces and experiences. On
a personal note, the biographies you are about to read represent men that I
credit with making my college years the best that they could be.
I remember the first time I heard of the idea to start this fraternity.
Roller asked me one night at a party and I said “Yah, I guess so.”
If I only would have known then what I know now, I would have said
“Fuck yes, I want to be a part of this organization.” In
organizing these biographies, I have reminisced about many times.
These times were both good and bad alike.
Chartering, socials, philanthropic events, and hanging with the boys
represent the good times. Facing
money and membership problems, and whether or not we would charter are some of
the bad times. One
thing I hope you take from this is fifteen years from now, when we gather at the
20th Annual Luau, old and new alumni alike will be sitting around
enjoying a few fine pilsners and sharing their memories.
I guarantee the most common phrase you will hear that day is “Remember
when………”
