Ben Ramsden Hometown: La Crescent, Minn. Major: Mass Communications Initiated: April 7, 1995 Graduated: May 11, 1996 Occupation: Sports copy editor/designer Nicknames: Benny, Benny Good Times, BGT, GT, Boop, Art, Art Good Times. Best memory: 1996 was a good year. When I received my diploma, I reflected on my college years. They were tough, and I really didn't have a direction until Chris Roller asked me if I wanted to become a part of a fraternity. We didn't know what fraternity we wanted to be, but we wanted to find one that reflected who we were. We chose Sigma Tau Gamma. From the moment in 1995, I found that direction, and it carries with me still. Sigma Tau Gamma taught me to work hard and never give up, no matter how difficult life can be. Plus, it give me a hell of a beer tolerance. It was an honor to be the first founding father to graduate for UW-La Crosse. Sound Advice: Don't sweat the petty things, and sometimes, pet the sweaty things.
