Call to Order 6:05

Present: Joe Stauffacher, Barry Sommer, Joe Dominguez, Brian Shaw, Dustin

Schroepfer, Cory M. Clark, Bryan Ingold, Brian Hannan, Jeff Knier, Keith Alger, Pablo Carranza, Pete Anasari, Dru Sommers, Andy Ziemann

Absent: Scott Halweg, Mike Turowski, Kenton Marino, Scott Swanson

Opening ceremony for the changing of the officers

VP of Programs (Shaw)

•              We did not spend all the money budgeted for our formal

•               Discussed how everybody felt formal went.  The general consensus was that it 

               went very well.

VP (Joe D.)

•              IFC election week

•              Keep working hard in classes

•              Gave closing statement for his e-board position

Membership (Keith)

•               Closing statement for position

Philanthropy (Dru)

•              New Horizons sent us a thank you card for Cow Pie Bingo

•              Joe Dominguez had the most philanthropy hours this semester

President (Joe S.)

•              Nic Mueller named Risk Management

•               Closing statement for his position

**Ceremony for changing of officers**

President (Dru)

•               Discussed Delta Sig situation

•               Discussed possibility of creating a "brain trust" which is Dru and three other

               brothers to talk with each other to decide how to handle situations.

VP of Programs (Keith)

•               Parents weekend March 2nd at Seven's Bridges

•               Brotherhood at the cellar at 6 and then study afterwards

VP (Nic)

•               Anyone skip?

•              tests

VP of Membership (Dustin)

•              Bring people to meetings

•              Get involved in other organizations

•              Wear your letters and buy apparel (if anyone has catalogs of Sig Tau

               merchandise that would be helpful)

Finance (Jeff)

•               People needed to have paid late fees and dues or have a payment plan before

               formal!

Philanthropy (Bryan)

•              Cow Pie Bingo again

•               neighborhood clean-up project

•              child abuse prevention

New Business

•              Dru created a brain trust of Pablo, Nic, and Dustin

•              River Falls Sig Tau died, we thought it would be a good idea to send a card or

               flowers

•               Quadi discussed responses to his e-mail

•               discussed possibility of created a Newsletter for alumni.

Motion:(Shaw) "Starting on February 1st, on the first of every month the VP

needs to create a letter to be approved to send out to all alumni telling them

what is going on.  It must be sent out one week after it is created."

               Motion passes
