1.      We need to do fundraising for it.  The consensus of the discussion is that we will set a goal of fundraising but not something we have to do.

2.      Gamma Sigs want by-laws and we don't at all.

New Business

 

·        Calendar Motions

1.      Motion "To approve the calendar with the exception of having the Super Bowl party on Super Bowl Sunday rather than Monday.”

            Motion Passes

 

·        Budget Motions

 

1.      Motion:(Barry) "That we suspend the rules and vote on each part of the budget as we go along."

            Motion Passes

 

 

2.       Motion:(Joe D.) "To change the housing fund so that we set aside $150 for the checking to go into savings, $200 for new members, $250 to go into savings, and $200 to go into a reserve fund."

            Motion passes

 

3.      Motion:(Joe D.) "To take the glasses out of the programs budget."

      Vote ties President's decision to pass motion

 

4.      Motion:(Nic) "To take out the previous balance from last semester from the budget until we know exactly what it is."

            Motion passes

 

5.      Motion:(Nic) "To create an Early Bird Fee.  Five dollars will be added to  everyone's dues.  If you pay your dues by Feb. 3rd you get the five dollars taken off your dues.  If you do not pay your dues by Feb. 3rd than that five dollars goes into the associate member fund."

 

Amendment:(Joe D. and Joe S.) "To have the Early Bird Fee added to dues, but to allow people to have a payment plan and still be allowed to get their five

   dollars back.  You must have that payment plan by Feb. 3rd and once that   person does not fulfill their plan they lose the Early Bird Fee."

                                       Amended motion passes

 

6.      Motion:(Joe S.) "Motion to take Rooster out of the budget."

                                       Motion passes

 

7.      Motion:(Joe S.) "Motion to approve budget as is with the exception of adding the previous balance, and Rooster saying he wants to stay in."

                                       Motion passes

·        J Board 

1.      Motion:(Shaw) "J-board has to go to the guys that owe more than $100 and the people have to pay or create a payment plan before the end of the semester."

               Amendment:(Joe S.) "J-board needs to meet with these people face to face and

               have a report at next Sunday's meeting."

                                       Amended motion passes
