***Opening Ceremony***

Roll Call

I. President

	Welcome back
	As a fraternity, we need our members to step up to the plate and take on leadership roles. We have a really great group of guys, we just need to utilize our talents and find new members to help expand our brotherhood.

II. V.P.

	This semester’s slogan is “Band of Brothers”
	Nic will be creating a safe house map for the brothers
	Next week we will have a new phone tree
	We need everyone’s parents info. Please Email Nic if you did not give him your home address.
	Scholarship report

III. Membership

	We have a number of guys who have shown interest, we need to go out and become better acquainted with them!
	Bring guys to the meetings
	We will be changing the way we do our associate learning this semester

IV. Finance

The dues this semester are $233.39

They are due now and starting next week there will be a five dollar penalty assessed every week until they are paid in full.

Fundraiser ideas

	Set up tents for the Quarterback Club during home football games.
	Clean streets for Oktoberfest
	Cow pie bingo
	Bake sales
	Basketball tournament

V. Programs

	Calendar (If you still need a copy, please email Dru ASAP.
	Formal will be at Maple Groves again
	Brotherhood this week will be tacos at 214^th 9^th starting at 6 o’clock . It will be followed by a movie
	Keith is looking to name someone social liaison to work more closely with the sororities

Goal setting

	Membership goal of 12 new guys. We have decided that EACH MEMBER WILL RECRUIT ONE NEW MEMBER THIS SEMESTER. There was not one person in attendance who did not think they could recruit a new brother. START NOW.
	Participation: Focus on fewer activities and do them better

Mike Ray talked about focusing on our goals.

Think about getting involved in this year’s State election campaign and being deputized to register voters.

Important Dates/Points this week:

Sept. 11^th 7 pm , 9-11 Rally for Patriotism at the Clocktower

BROTHERHOOD Thursday Sept. 12^th: Tacos at 214 N. 9^th. A movie will follow. This is an excellent event to bring new guys to.

Sept. 15^th, first 5 dollar late fee will be applied to all members who have not paid their dues.
