Tyler Burkart
City Affairs Director

Tyler is currently a senior at UW-L with a double major in Political Science and Public Administration and minors in Mathematics and Philosophy. He is originally from Janesville, Wisconsin and intends to graduate in May of 2010.

Tyler chose to attend UW-L because of the size of the campus, the extracurricular opportunities, and the atmosphere. While at UW-L, Tyler has been involved as the Hutch Hall President during his freshman year, an RA in Coate during his sophomore year, an RA in Trowbridge during his junior year, a vanguard, and the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) President.

Some of Tyler's goals for the year include educating students about city issues, addressing issues such as parking and renter's rights, helping to find more efficient transportation routes for the MTU bus system, and initiating more open forums for off-campus students to voice their opinions about the city.

Tyler is a member of the Scholarships and Awards committee.
