University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Student Association

Nick Bezier

My name is Nick Bezier, and it's a privilege to be able to serve as the President of your Student Association for the 2013-2014 academic year. I'm a junior double majoring in Political Science and Public Administration. I'm originally from Neenah, Wisconsin (Go Rockets!). In my free time, I enjoy biking and hiking, beating VP Karlstrand in tennis and ping pong, and fantasy football.

I chose to attend UW-L because I wanted a great college education at an affordable price. Being surrounded by picturesque bluffs and the mighty Mississippi River were also pluses. I knew I made the right choice in attending school here right away freshman year.

Student governance is hugely important to me. As stakeholders of this university, we deserve a seat at the table. Being involved in Student Association inevitably exposes you to a lot of what this campus has to offer, and I'm always blown away by how incredible our students, faculty, staff, and administrators are, and that's why I'm involved in this organization. My goal for this year is to share that with others who aren't involved and encourage them to get involved in our organization. It's a great leadership opportunity, you meet some amazing people, and it's a lot of fun!
