Athletic Senator
Olivia Hartwick
This year’s Athletic Senator is Olivia
Hartwick. She is a junior from Fort Atkinson,
Wisconsin and captain of the Women’s Tennis Team. She is an
Elementary Education major
with a double minor in Psychology and At-Risk Child Youth Care.
One of Olivia’s favorite things about UW-L is the city
of La Crosse itself. The bluffs,
river and more are all wonderful attributes, but the
opportunities for the students are what set
UW-L apart. She is actively involved in the Student Athlete
Advisory Committee, and has
enjoyed being a part of many other groups such as the Physical
Activity Mentoring Program for
Children with Disabilities, Optimist Club, Habitat for Humanity
and Golden Key.
Throughout the 2012-2013 school year, Olivia plans on continuing the Student
Associations positive insight and influence upon the student
body. She plans on finding ways to
create more opportunities for students who are particularly
interested in working with athletes or
in a sport setting. She also hopes to help athletes manage both
school and athletics efficiently
and successfully. Olivia is thrilled to be a part of Student
Association and cannot wait to
represent and vouch for our student body, particularly student athletes.
